SKSE expands Skyrim's internal code engine, allowing modders to create complex features. It will look something like thisthough your exact filepath may be a little different. Download the SKSE installer from this link. Running the game once generates files that Ultimate Skyrim needs to function. These settings do not matter, and will be replaced. The first task is to run Skyrim through Steam, which will prepare your install for Ultimate Skyrim. Steam can be a little wonky when downloading this pack, so if you experience any issues, click here for a list of fixes. A clean Skyrim installation through Steam, as shown here.
